You found Anon E Mouse Cachets, a line of first day covers started in 1981 that always has
a mouse in the cachet. First day covers provide an entertaining and educational hobby for people of all backgrounds.
Welcome to a mouse-sized piece of that world!
See the first day covers I produced in 2011 and 2012, 2013-14, 2015 and 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2023, and 2024. In 2023, FDCs and event covers were printed directly on ready-made cotton bond envelopes.
I still have a few hand-drawn or hand-colored covers of each design from my earliest production years.
See these on the 1982 page, the 1983 and 1984 page,
and the 1985-1988 page.
I worked into computer-drawn designs gradually. The experimental and full-fledged computer cachets are on the
1989-1992 page, the 1993-1995 page, the
1996-1998 page, the 1999-2001 page,
the 2002-2007 page, the 2008 page, the
2009 page, and the 2010 page.
I recently realized I can print cachets directly to ready-made envelopes! Previously, experiments produced crumpled wads of paper or made
my printer jam. Now things are working well. This means I can go back into production without taking the time to cut, fold, and glue sheets
of paper into envelope form. It also opens up an avenue to produce add-on cachets for people who provide serviced uncacheted first day covers.
See my limited quantity Add-On offerings featuring images of early hand-drawn cachets.
You can find featured covers via the Anon E Mouse Store page or the year links page. The shopping cart, by Mal's E-commerce, will take you to PayPal. If you do not want to use PayPal, order by sending me an email. I will reply with an invoice, and ship after payment is received. Shipment is immediate for established returning customers.
New in December 2020: Sale pricing on overstock packets. Buy ten per pack of the same cachet. Use them for special projects, gifts, or other purposes that might promote interest in our hobby.
The American First Day Cover Society (see their site at AFDCS.org) is an educational non-profit organization that has served First Day Cover collectors, cachetmakers, and dealers since 1955. They have an award-winning website worth viewing and an excellent journal that keeps members abreast of the latest events and research about first day covers.
